What were you like before the transformation?

I was in great shape when I was younger. I loved being on street while I was growing up. Like many children, we walked down to the river and swam, riding bicycles everywhere. I did not like to sit on the couch and watch TV or play video games. I’ve always wanted to do something active.

When I turned 18, I started making the wrong decisions in my life. I started going to parties, drinking, and the whole sport, fitness – everything outside the home – has stopped. Between the ages of 18 and 21 I I gained almost 16 kilograms.

Later I got a job that included business trips. Hotel staying and junk food gave me add another 14 kilograms. After getting married, I just continued this cycle and recovered to 130 kilograms.

What helped you decide to change?

My doctor told me that I will not be near my children, if I do not change my lifestyle. She said that while how much do i weigh i have to start taking cholesterol-lowering drugs. But she also gave me six months to change. This is what really pushed me to comply healthy Lifestyle.

What was the most difficult when you started?

I love foods that contain carbohydrates and pies, and small snacks here and there. Giving up on this was definitely the hardest step for me. I also relate to people who “jam.” stress, “so when I felt depressed it was very it’s hard not to return to food for comfort. I had to adhere to a strict plan, so I could not take up old.

It was not easy, I could not cope. I told myself: “Okay, I I’m going to have a belly festival for myself. “And two days later I did the same thing. I remember, finally, looking at my wife, I said: “I need a gym membership, I need to start do it and I need your help to keep myself under control.

She said: “Good, but you will not like it at all.” It turned out to be a real inspiration for me, always helped me go through all my difficult times letting me move in the right direction. My children also motivated me. I do not wanted them to adopt my bad habits.

Many times I violated my diet, but I did not allow any failure to determine my direction. I set myself small goals and sought to pursue them. Often I just wanted to stop everything, grab a whole pie and eat it. But my family was for me much more important than food and laziness.

How did your transformation begin?

At first, I’m sure I looked like an idiot in the gym. I do not understood what I was doing, knew that I needed more help, but the coach or a mentor was a privilege that I could not afford. I AM I remember thinking: “I don’t even know what to do.” I later spoke with myself and thought: “You know what? If I’m going to do that, I’ll just go all-in. ”

I just typed “bodybuilding” in the search bar and appeared link bodybuilding.com. This is the moment when my progress towards in good shape went uphill. Six months later, I lost 18 kilograms, reaching a weight of 112 kilograms. I felt great

Then I saw the Transformation Challenge announcement on bodybuilding.com and I decided to give it a try. My wife agreed with my choice: she wanted me to continue working in the same spirit. By the end of the transformation, I lost 85 kg. I saw mine press for the first time after the night of eleventh graders.

What was it like after losing weight?

When I finished with the challenge, I began to notice small things. My confidence has increased. My wife looked at me differently. Who not wants your wife to look at him, thinking that you attractive? People around me looked differently too. I AM was no longer that lazy guy. I was a guy who can bring things to the end.

After losing weight and transforming the body

The difference between how I felt before and how I feel yourself now – like the difference between day and night. I can play with your children and not choke. We spend time together as a family, I never thought it was possible just five years ago. We like to go camping, boxing and going on jujitsu with the whole family. My wife and I are much happier now now that we can do so much together.

What is your fitness plan now?

I would like to get in shape to compete with others bodybuilders and maybe try mixed martial arts. I would also like to help other people who are now in that form, in which I was before the transformation. I’m not sure how it will be happen, but I feel like I have to help other guys, so they will not fall into the same traps as me.

What advice do you give to inspire others?

Do not give up. People say it constantly, but it is very important. When you eat junk food or go out of the way of your diet, it’s not end. This is the end only when this error defines you. If you screw up and eat a whole pie, just enjoy pie – then work it out and become better in your transformation. Learn from your mistakes. And just don’t do them again.

What training regimen did you follow?

Exercises are further provided below. Chris also had 60-minute jiu-jitsu workouts wednesday morning gym classes and 50 minute kickboxing on Tuesdays. By Chris and his family do hourly and boxing activities on Saturday mornings and jujutsu.

An hour of jujitsu before lunch.

  • Mahi dumbbells in the slope -15, 10, 8, 5 reps
  • Machs in front of you with dumbbells -15, 10, 8, 5 repetitions
